Your journey begins with a ferry ride from Sandnessjøen to Bjørn quay on Dønna. From there, you drive about 10–15 minutes (approx. 8 km) to Brygga på Dønna, where you check in.
When you arrive at Brygga, you can prepare your own dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, or use one of the outdoor grills and enjou a long summer evening outside. If the weather is a bit chilly, you might be tempted by a session in the sauna followed by a refreshing dip in the sea.

Start the day by making breakfast and packing a lunch. Then drive to Breivika (approx. 20 minutes), where you’ll find parking and toilet facilities before starting the hike.
The hike to Dønnamannen (858 m.a.s.l.) is steep, demanding, and incredibly rewarding. You’ll enjoy fantastic views of the archipelago and the characteristic mountains of Helgeland.
