Day 1: Get to know Brønnøysund
Arrival in Brønnøysund, the vibrant coastal town nestled on a narrow peninsula, surrounded by a myriad of islands, islets, and skerries. Check in at Thon Hotel Brønnøysund and explore the town's rich history and authentic coastal culture. Follow the historical walking tour that takes you through 10,000 years of coastal life, trade, and culture with an audioguide. You may begin the audio guide whenever it’s convenient for you.
The evening concludes with dinner at one of the town's restaurants (not included).
Day 2: Bike Tour to the Iconic Torghatten
After a delicious breakfast at Thon Hotel Brønnøysund, it's time for a cycling adventure!
Pick up your rental bike at the Tourist Information Center and get ready to explore the fantastic coastal landscape. With a varied selection of bikes and all necessary equipment included, you have the freedom to cycle at your own pace. You make you choice of bike befor fulfilling the booking.
Choose between a leisurely ride in the local area, or embark on a longer bike trip to the iconic Torghatten, 15 km each way. From the parking lot at Torghatten, a clear path leads up the mountainside to the hole. Here you get panoramic views of the archipelago and the sounds winding between the islands. The trip can be rounded off with a refreshing swim nearby – perfect on warm summer days.
Tip: Take the classic photo through the hole for a true Helgeland moment!
Lunch can either be packed or enjoyed at one of the restaurants near Torghatten. Upon returning to the center, you return your bike to the tourist information.
In the evening, a new dinner awaits in Brønnøysund, preferably with local ingredients and flavors from the Helgeland coast.

Day 3: Activity on your own choice
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and stroll along the shoreside before you check out.

About five and a half thousand people live here today, while the entire municipality has around eight thousand. Brønnøysund became a town in 1923, and since then it has grown to become a vibrant center for agriculture, fishing, trade, and tourism. Here you will also find the Brønnøysund Register Centre, one of the country's most important government offices.
