Rooms | The old trading post at Forvik now has a restaurant and coffee roaster, and it offers accommodation. It was established in 1792, but for a short period in the 1600s there was already trade here. Forvik’s heyday, however, was in the 18th century.
Old Forvik trading post has long history. At one time there were as many as 20 buildings here. Most of those still standing were built in the 1800s. In Grålana, a building built around 1750, five rooms are available for rent. Each room is distinct, and you can really sense the history in the walls. The rooms share a bathroom and wc. Guests are free to use the kitchen and lounge.
The restaurant’s menu is based on local ingredients. The coffee roaster in the former grocery store is the perfect place to savour a good cup of coffee, and buy freshly roasted beans.
Nearby we offer camping spots for tents, campers and caravans.
